I have been training with Jared at NYPT for the past 6 months and it has been a great experience. Having played D1 athletics in college, I already knew my way around the gym and Jared adapted my training to take that into account. He keeps the workouts interesting and challenging, and definitely pushes me harder than I would push myself if working out on my own. We review my diet regularly and discuss ways I can make improvements. Most importantly though, I am seeing results. While I still have some work to do in order to achieve my ultimate goals, I am making progress. Whether you're a gym novice or have been lifting since high school, you'll definitely be in better shape after working with Jared.

Jared's The Man

I've been working out with Jared for nearly a year now. I don't have the easiest schedule in the world. I both travel and end up out most nights of the week for work. Jared has been incredible working around my hectic schedule, always making time to see me and makes sure to bust my ass every time! He's great at explaining his methods, why we do what we do and tailors everything for your specific body type. All in all, A+!

Exactly 2 weeks before my 40th birthday I made a plan to start learning to workout and eat heathier to loose extrta weight At NYPT I was introduced to Jared Rappaport and it clicked immediately btw us- Great explanation of basic work out , diet plan by Geo - I do work out about 5 times\week At the moment; 4 weeks later I lost about 16 pounds, created a much more fit body and enjoy working out on a regular base Thank you, Jared! i was in great shape before getting pregnant with my second child; however, as i was in my mid-30s i was scared that this time around my body would not be so kind to me. jared got me through my pregnancy with fantastic workouts, nutrition tips and motivation. i worked out until the day before i had my baby. i had a c-section and bounced back like a rubber band. i was back at the gym doing cardio in one week and back with jared working on getting my pre-pregnancy bod back by week 5. i owe my quick recovery to his training. overall, you will not find a more dedicated, concerned and knowledgeable trainer as jared. he will keep you motivated and you will see results.

Best Personal Training

I have been training at NYPT for the past four months. I had never trained with anyone before and didn't know what to expect. Turns out it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The gym is private so it's clean and never too crowded. I was also very fortunate to have been paired up with Jared as my trainer. We immediately hit it off. Jared is very professional and knows how to push you to your limit while making working out fun. At 41, I am in better shape than I was in my 20's, and I have Jared to thank for it. Since starting training with Jared, I have lost weight and gained muscle and tone. He has helped to keep me motivated at times when I felt like giving up. I am currently training for the NYC Marathon and, as a result of training with Jared, I have seen big improvements in my running as well as recovery times. In addition to gym workouts, Jared also helps me with stretching, diet and form. If you are looking for results in a fun, positive environment, go to NYPT and ask for Jared. My trainer Jared is fun to work with. I started more than six months ago and it has always been engaging and interesting to do my training. Jared knows a lot of different exercises and pushes me to my limit with just the right challenge. The training is good for my health and fitness and I will certainly continue.

I decided I wanted to lose some weight, and build up my strength and confidence. I began training with with Jared and instantly knew it was the right choice. We were a perfect match. I would listen to Jared's hillarious stories and he would push me and make me do things I didn't think I could do. He quickly became one of my close friends and helped me lose 15 pounds in just a few short months. Jared not only gave me guidance on what exercises and cardio I should do while on the road (I travel a ton for my job) but he helped me plan a diet that I could stick to and helped me stay motivated with honest feedback and praise when I deserved it. He put together a program that allowed me to see definition in parts of my body I never thought I could, like my arms, shoulders, and back, and helped me regain confidence that I had lost over the last few years. And the best part was that I saw results within a month - significant results. I have seen Jared work with people who have 50 pounds to lose or 5 pounds to lose, and he's incredible with all of his clients. I would encourage anyone with any sort of fitness goal to meet with him and come up with a plan, because he's a great partner and can help you make it happen, no matter what it is. I trained with him for almost 7 months before moving to Philly from NYC and miss him a ton. But in true Jared fashion, he helps me stay motivated and on track even from far away, and that, to me, is the sign of not only an awesome trainer, but a loyal friend.

i liked how NYPT took a very targeted approach towards helping me achieve my fitness goals - both by crafting a specific regime for me as well as carefully planning a strict diet. You don't come across many gyms that actually teach you to watch your caloric intake, it's always just 'do do do'! jared (my trainer) did a fabulous job. he focused not just on the resistance part of the workout, but also on posture, breathing techniques, rest and stretching that are essential in order to maximize results. in short, just perfect.

The Best Training I have ever had

I trained the summer of 2009 at New York Personal Training with Jared. Apart from the fact that it was very well equipped facility, what was even more appealing was that it was closed private facility, which meant that it was never crowded. This was the first time I was getting a trainer and boy was it a good idea, Jared (my trainer) insured that my motivation continued beyond the first week of training. He was there day in and day out making sure that I did my cardio after the session and had the right meals. He would always find ways to pump my spirit. There were times when I wanted to give up on working out, but Jared the way Jared instructed me kept me going through to the end. Without any exaggeration, Jared changed the way I work out. Earlier I used to workout out to burn all the pizza's I had, but now working out is more than running for 45minutes. I lost significant pounds and built good upper body muscle with Jared. Only in 4 weeks I could see the results and felt stronger. After training with Jared I am set on the path of being fit for life. For anyone who hasn't trained before and is not sure about the idea of personal training, Jared is the best trainer out there. I now look forward to going to gym and feel much more confident with my beach body.

Life-altering experience for a first timer.

Life-altering experience for a first timer. I never worked out before this in my life. At 32 years of age and a smoker, I realized that I had to do something to reverse the years of abuse on my body. The studio, and especially my trainer (Jared Rappoport) eased me into a new lifestyle, literally. I now look forward to going to the gym, which is something I never would have thought to come out of my mouth. Jared reinforced the importance of nutrition (portion control, frequency & size of meals, etc.), hydration, rest and other facets of health and fitness that will remain with me for the rest of my life. I highly recommend the studio (and Jared) for a comfortable, safe and challenging experience.

I have been a member here for past 6 months, and can not say enough about how professional the trainers are. My trainer, Jared Rappoport, has customized a training program specifically for me. I am a much happier person and stronger than I ever have been due to his expert knowledge of the human body.

Jared is fantastic. When I have no enthusiasim for working out he pushes me to succeed. He creates different work outs each session to keep me interested. THe facility is bright, clean and in a great location, and they play the best "old-school rap" around. I would definitly recommend Jared and NYPT to anyone!

Great Trainer, Great Facility

Working out with Jared Rappoport has made a huge difference in my physical fitness. In addition to tailoring workouts to my personal goals, he also put together an optimal nutrition plan for me to build muscle. Jared is pretty laid-back but isn't shy about really pushing you through your workouts. For anyone new to training, I would recommend him. Whether you're looking to build muscle or just get back in shape he is a great trainer.

Great Facility, Great Trainers

I have had 6 weeks of training with Jared and it has mad such a difference. He also mapped out a nutritional plan for me, now I look and feel so much better. I have lost weight and inches and have had fun doing it.. Jared packs in a great work out in a short time. The facilities are also nice and it's never crowded like other membership gyms. If you are considering hiring a personal trainer, I highly recommend setting up an initial appointment with Jared.
